Send Call Data with Webhooks

Configure the agent webhook to send conversation data to your system.

Configure a webhook in the agent settings to send call information to your system when the conversation ends. Choose the predefined variables available in the configuration to build the payload.

Step 1: Prepare the endpoint

Create an endpoint in your system that accepts the webhook request. During development, you can use webhook.site to inspect incoming requests.

Step 2: Configure the agent webhook

Open the agent settings and enable the post-call webhook. Enter the endpoint URL, choose POST, PUT, or PATCH, and edit the JSON payload template using the available predefined variables.

The post-call webhook settings do not include a field for authentication headers or credentials. Configure protection and request validation in your receiving system, and confirm that its requirements are compatible with the request the agent sends.

Step 3: Test

Run a test call and confirm that the endpoint receives the selected fields. Check your system logs if the request does not arrive or is rejected.

Next steps

  • Connect a telephony provider
  • Test your agent
